I started shooting through my first DSLR on 07-FEB-07, after years of being just a happy cam-whore. Before that, I never really understood how people could communicate through photos. Heck, I would just look at a picture and see it the same way I see other pictures -- as pictures. So when the realization finally hit me, I opted to take my chance in this thing called photography. Since then, every day has been a genuine learning experience for me through books, magazines, online resources, practice, and most of all, comments and criticisms from friends, colleagues, and even strangers. Thus, I'd like for this site to chronicle my daily life and whatever little progress I make in the field of photography -- my newfound (and only) bliss. Enjoy your visit, and I hope you'll feel comfortable leaving your thoughts on anything in this site as you see fit. Or whatever. Cheers! “If you follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. When you can see that, you begin to meet people who are in the field of your bliss, and they open the doors to you. I say, follow your bliss and don’t be afraid, and doors will open where you didn’t know they were going to be.” - Joseph Campbell
